No, I haven't got a clue what Pleonast's puzzle is.
More amusing is that atpg is wrong with the riddle. Telegraph pole? I believe my rhymes are a little older than that.
OTOH: atpg's fake PM is great apart from two small problems. 1. he doesn't mention sending in a PM for his role 2. I never do percentage chances in my games. Things either happen or they don't.
I wonder if anyone will notice?

Oh boy, this could be bad for the town.
If GC claims, the scum have both a roleblocker and watcher in the ranks. If the doc does as usual and protects a detective, the scum can identify two of the more powerful town roles on Night 1.
Ouch!

and a note from Pleonast on exactly what is going on. Some thoughts for posterity... Being a Miller, I'm basically a free mislynch given to scum. So to prevent that, I need to get Night-killed, either by scum or by a mandatory Vig. My first tactic to accomplish that is my encoded "claim". I'm trying to draw scum's attention by behaving differently. I'm little surprised that no one figured it out in the game thread, but since scum are the intended target that's not a problem. In case you didn't figure it out, the highlighted letters are "tddogasmar" which is an anagram of "gastard mod". (Because vanilla Millers are a gastard role. ) Also, the color used is "ba5d4d" which vaguely looks like "bastard". Ideally, they'll think I'm up to something by being extra coy and kill me. If not, then at the end of Day Two if there's more than one killed on Night One, I'll simply request to be Night-killed by the mandatory Vig. That should be a fun Night. Not sure what to do if I'm still alive on Day Three. Oh, just in case it's not clear, any interaction between myself and the moderator in a game thread is purely for in-game purposes with the other players as the intended audience. (Which is why I don't allow public questions to the mod in my own games. ) Oh Pleonast...you so crazee!

This could be interesting, ATPG has misstepped there.
Nearly all the roles: vanilla, power role and scum, have just one item under power. His is one of the few to have two. He just effectively claimed something unusual.
Wonder if anyone will pick up the significance.

Looks like it is going to be a bad Night for the Duke Of Yorks side.

You know - I just realised all the PMs sent out went as "Nursey" and not "Nursery" Crimes.

You know, SP and Texcat are both painfully obvious lynch choices, but the town is so easily distracted that it doesn't matter.
There's no game if someone constantly sets their own side on fire. HI THERE MEEKO.

This is probably the most even spread of votes I have seen in a while.
OTOH: with ATPG now claiming this could be fun...

I like how scum keep linking themselves together through claims and poorly thought out plans. at this rate texcat will be the only one standing around going into night four, and I don't think she'll last. In other news, I think the setup is fine, personally?

Here's another question.
Was Colby's NK on a town vanilla beneficial for the town or not?
One side: it removes a town player and hastens the scum wincon Other Side: Its one less place for the scum to hide in

Honestly, it's usually better for vigilantes to shoot at likely lynches - if it's a mislynch they were going to waste a day getting lynched, giving scum time to hide and put something together for the next day, and if they were scum... well. Yay?

I'm inclined to agree with paranoia on that one.
