Game idea is to have all the players linked, so that if one player is killed another player will die as well.
This means the game will have all sorts of problems maibnly in terms of balance.
Brief set up as follows
19 town 4 scum 1 3rd party
everyone starts linked.
Option 1: Randomise all the links. Option 2: Preset the links to balance the game out.
Question: Should the scum know who they are linked to.
town roles 12 vanilla Splitter - can break the wedlock links by deactivating the ring transmitter. Does not prevent the ring from exploding. jammer - can prevent a wedlock ring from exploding multi-jammer - can prevent the wedlock signal being sent out (one shot and frees partner) blocker - prevent Night action Link tracker - can see who is linked to who 2 masons - two people who know they are town
3rd party: Survivor - broken link
Scum roles splitter - can break wedlock links Link tracker - can see who is linked to who Activator - can set off one wedlock ring at Night
Splitters will be seen by the person they work on.
Rough JSexton 12 vanilla - 12 jammer - 3 blocker - 2 multi-jammer (doc/split) - 2 link tracker - 1.5 masons - 4 splitter - 3
27.5
Scum splitter 6 link tracker 6 2 goons 9
21
However all scum capable of carrying out each action, so +2 splitter + 2 tracker
Bonus for wedlocks means multikills, so less mislynches required.

Night actions order:
Block Track Split Safety Jam Activate
This means the town has a chance to break wedlocks before they are immediately blown up.

You know what, I like this list more than I like my own. It gives the town power roles a little more protection.

Checking Lynch rate
Fasted possible town win will be Day 4.
If all the NKs are linked and the scum do not break links we get 4 extra town + 6 town NK = 10 out of 20, so a clear win for the town.
Fastest Scum win. All lynches have a link. All NK's have a link EOD1 17T, 4S EON1 15T, 4S EOD2 13T, 4S EON2 11T, 4S EOD3 9T, 4S EON3 7T, 4S EOD4 5T, 4S EON4 3T, 4S
Scum win, start of Day 5 - requires 4 mislynches
Slowest Scum win Only Day 1 has a link, all NK's solo EOD1 17T, 4S EON1 16T, 4S EOD2 15T, 4S EON2 14T, 4S EOD3 13T, 4S EON3 12T, 4S EOD4 11T, 4S EON4 10T, 4S EOD5 9T, 4S EON5 8T, 4S EOD6 7T, 4S EON6 6T, 4S EOD7 5T, 4S EON7 4T, 4S
Scum win, start of Day 8 - still requires 7 mislynches.
A medium paced curve: Every other lynch and NK is linked. EOD1 17T, 4S EON1 15T, 4S EOD2 14T, 4S EON2 13T, 4S EOD3 11T, 4S EON3 9T, 4S EOD4 8T, 4S EON4 7T, 4S EOD5 5T, 4S EON5 4T, 4S
Scum win, start of Day 6 - requires 5 mislynches.
Other issues: Jammer - effectively a Doc, should save 1/2 lynch. Multi-jammer should save 1/2 lynch. Links - unknown - would expect about half of them to be linked. Each is worth an extra half mislynch.
Big issue - the scum need to ensure that the lynch victims are not linked to themselves until after they are cut.

Town Issue: Lynching someone on Day 1 takes out a power role. Mitigated: 2 power roles are linked to the scum, the third is not linked at the start.
Scum Issue: Lynching a town member can kill the scum. Mitigated: The scum know the four players they are linked to, but not how.
Expectation: At the start, most of the Kills are linked, by mid-game/end, most if not all the links will have been broken and it will be a straight race to the end.

One major problem, the doc can function almost as a cop. If there is one kill per Night and the doc has protected someone, then it becomes likely to the doc that the person is non-scum, effectively acting as a cop/doc in one.
After a while, with the link splitters this becomes less likely and may cause confusion.
Then again, the doc is linked to the one of the scum, which could cause major confusion if the doc self protects on Night 1 and the jammer goes off.
Also, they have two chances every Night to protect someone due to linkage instead of the usual one, certainly at the start of the game.
Hmm, how to balance this one out.

Ok, two things occur to me.
1. the jammer role will cause a definite split and protect in one Night is perhaps too biased towards the town. This one will become just a vanilla role.
2. Survivor as a role on its own sucks and even with the link broken they are likely to be lynched regardless. So time to make them a confirmed scotsman survivor. If their collar is activated, all it will do is continue to beep constantly. The link will not be broken up front, so if the survivor is hit, the linked player will be hit and the beeping noticed.

Changed the survivor role to a mad bomber role and the 3rd power role to collar man to check the status of each collar and give the town and chance to know about it.

Looking at the roleblock and it could actually be too powerful, if they hit the scum activator then that's two possible deaths not happening and if that happens on Night 1, that's a gamebreaker.
Suggested option: convert the roleblocker to a backup person. If any of the town power roles die, then they can pick up the devices and use them.

and looking at the amended mad bomber if they and the scum set off a collar on N2, it could take out 4 townies in one go, or 3 townies and a scum etc. etc.
Gah: Balancing this is getting ridiculous.
