A brief idea of how fast/slow links can be split
Fast rate: Town splitter does different pairs each time, scum split different pairs
Day 1: 22 linked, 2 split Night 1: 18 linked, 6 split Night 2: 14 linked, 10 split Night 3: 10 linked, 14 split Night 4: 6 linked, 18 split - scum finish splitting Night 5: 4 linked, 20 split Night 6: 2 linked, 22 split Night 7: 0 linked, 24 split
By Day 5, if only the linked people are lynched/NKd - there will be no linked pairs left. If only split people are lynched NKd, then it will go on to Day 8.

Slow Rate: scum split their own pairs, town splits scum pairs and then splits both sides of each
Day 1: 22 linked, 2 split Night 1: 20 linked, 4 split Night 2: 18 linked, 6 split Night 3: 16 linked, 8 split Night 4: 14 linked, 10 split
At this point, the town splitter could spend another 4 Nights splitting links that don't exist.
This would be seriously good for the scum/bad for the town as all NKs would be linked.
Mitigated as the link splitter should split themselves first and they are not linked to the scum.
So by Day 5, at least half the group should be split.
Also, the scum will look to NK linked pairs at the start of the game to get the numbers down, so the number of linked pairs should fall a lot more than this.
