It seems unfortunate that, that experience and Idle Thoughts in Conspiracy mean Scotsman are unlikely to be trusted ever again. But Conspiracy is a bit unique. As long as mods confirm town Scotsman/Bulletproofs as town the first time they die (as Pleo does when he's not pulling odd powers), there shouldn't be much of a problem. I don't like scum Scotsman anyway as a role (town should never be punished for doing the right thing collectively--IMO, an opinion that not everyone beleives in I'll concede). Night kill resistant scum are okay, but lynch resistant scum are a really bad mechanic, IMO. The lynch is town's power. Scum should not be able to mechanically avoid it in any non-Bastard game.

Some day I want to make a Bastard game where no one gets any wincons out of the start. There will be some mechanic for a win, but it won't be listed anywhere in a PM.
The wincon statement in the PM will be something like this:
Win Condition: You win when...ahh, f**k it! No one every pays attention to these things anyway unless they're trying to handshake.
ETA: Stupid censor!

You know, I wish I HAD thought of the quantum gadgets which get passed from player to player on death. That could be so much fun.
Oh and BillMc and colby11 - nice one - the town is now totally confused.

Oh and BillMc and colby11 - nice one - the town is now totally confused. I had actually assumed that I could say "give the gadget to X" and X would have got it that night, even if I got killed -- ie, all actions resolve concurrently. I stretched it somewhat by making it sound like a "last will and testament" sort of thing -- so it would get passed when I got NK'd --- obviously since I got lynched, the night action of passing didnt happen

However, you wouldn't get to use it and transfer it, just one or the other.

Hmm, currently 4 power roles, 6 town and 3 scum left.
I wonder if it will get to the point that the scum run out of hiding places if they kill too many vanilla?

However, you wouldn't get to use it and transfer it, just one or the other. Yup, I knew that. With not being around N1, N2 it was ultimately a useless gadget, and I had planned to pass it anyway N3 just to prove the points I had made

Well, I was way off on my list of who was scum.
I played the most horrible stretch from Day 3-Day 4. Though the townies are bleeping idiots, and some are getting onto sinjin.
Yes, I made an idiotic move sending the gadget to PWIAG. But, I think that it might help out town in the long run.
CIAS- thank you for a fun (and stressful at times) game. First 3rd party role that I played, and I think I learned alot of lessons moving forward

I am still very surprised they lynched you. I thought I had made it really obvious from their wincons that if there was a 3rd party it would not affect them or be able to steal their win. If it had been all threats to the town, I could have understood. But hidden wincons which steal out of nowhere aren't gastardly, they are gamebreaking and unfair to the players. Oh, and town, that gadget makes perfect sense if you think about it. As for your play, Colby11; giving the gadget to PWIAG was actually the best play you could have done. It depowered you, but should have meant that lynching you was a waste. Don't worry, one day you will survive a game. Actually, I think the only game I have survived was a mini mafia game. Ho Hum.

So, let's see if on Day 5, the town can put some pressure on some scum or continue to shoot themselves in the foot.
I'm not surprised no-one has done any vote analysis, the votes have hardly changed through each day.

Ok, Day 6 and we are down to 9 people with 1 link left.
2 masons, 1 doc, 4 vanilla, 2 scum
Perhaps slightly balanced against the scum going in to the endgame, but not insurmountable.
I wonder when the masons will claim or will they wait until it is too late.

Ed's "new" playstyle is hard to grasp -- not sure if he'll get any momentum behind the Story vote

Three a piece, and 3 townies still to vote. They really need to look at the voting record - story and scathath stick out like sore thumbs

Not yet, Day 7 is likely to be LoL though. But 5 mislynches is a fair enough for the town to work through.
