I'm glad to see I was right about Plankton. If only more players had taken my advice for the Day Two lynch.
What's up with Cookies targeting the soon to be dead?
Is there a link to the scum boards? I curious why pizzaguy went for the trade, especially when the scum watcher will quickly find who the other power roles are and the scum blocker will stop the investigations.
gnarly, I don't put much stock in role PM analysis. It might be worthwhile if there's nothing else to look at. I've seen too many times when players simply get it wrong. But when there's competing claims, including a claimed investigation, those data have to take precedence.
Scum can almost always "force" town to lynch anyone the scum chooses. They can do it because town is happy to take the trade.

Ah, found the link to the scum boards.
pizzaguy expected us to accept a roleclaim with a lying role PM and lying about the results of the investigation power? To me, those lies mean instant lynch or Vig-kill. I don't see any circumstance where that'd be accepted.
And only a gastard mod would lie in a PM, and I say that as a moderator that often walks that line.

I think texcat is doing the best of the scum, they were not on my radar at all.

I think texcat is doing the best of the scum, they were not on my radar at all. They flatly should have been. Scum have not been playing well at all, the problem being you guys tend to wait on 'scum slips' (OH NO THEY USED HONESTLY! TWICE!) instead of actual hunting to find scum. It works about as well as you imagine. There has not been one post from her that I wouldn't tear her apart over, and the simple fact she disappeared after voting me day one without any input on almost anything else for the rest of the day should have been a plenty big tip off.

Honestly, it's usually better for vigilantes to shoot at likely lynches - if it's a mislynch they were going to waste a day getting lynched, giving scum time to hide and put something together for the next day, and if they were scum... well. Yay? another option is to take out lurkers. Thing with lurkers: if there are enough (and there generally are) for scum to be hiding in them, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. "are they busy/just not around, or are they taking active advantage of town passed out, face down in a pond?"

"are they busy/just not around, or are they taking active advantage of town passed out, face down in a pond?" yes, but if these Town players are non-participatory, it could also be helpful.

It's not helpful to criticize others for not hunting scum simply because they're taking a different angle. texcat was not on my radar, but two other scum ( Plankton and dizzy) were. And town typically only needs to be right half the time to win.

Lots of people on one vote. Could make for an interesting end of Day...
...or more likely not.

Could make for an interesting end of Day... ...or more likely not. eh, probably not.
